Roy Howard is the President of RH Property Management & Consulting, Inc., a full service project management entity which services the private residence and small business markets. After serving the greater Westchester home improvement marketplace for over twenty-five years, Mr. Howard has officially retired his tool belt and no longer serves as the general contractor. His efforts are now focused on building the best construction teams possible to build the best projects for his clientele. Relying on his diverse and long-term relationships with contractors’ throughout the area clients can be assured they are benefiting from Mr. Howard’s years of experience and solid references for those that will construct the projects.
Contracting had been at the core of activities until the decision was made to transition to the property management sector which was a logical progression in his career. Mr. Howard has had extensive project management experience in both large scale and time critical assignments. Facilities property management background has included 3 commercial properties, a senior housing residence and a 182 unit co-op apartment. Commercial assignments have included all phases and facets of building infrastructure management including but not limited to structural steel and concrete work, structural framing, foundations, drainage, exterior facades and sealing, windows and lintel replacement, roofing, fire suppression systems, emergency repairs, terraces AC sleeve replacements, etc., as well as contract and vendor negotiations.
Mr. Roy Howard has made a career in the construction industry since 1991 with over 1500 successfully completed projects in his portfolio. A graduate of Southern Connecticut State University, he entered the professional field after earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Business. His career has been highlighted by multiple contracting assignments being featured in architecture and design magazines. Such publications include the cover photo/story in the April 2009 issue of Habitat Magazine titled, "Searching for a new approach" as well as the article in the October 2008 edition of Westchester Magazine titled, "The grand re-opening of The Center for Cosmetic Dentistry", among others. Most recently he was selected to work with the HGTV show "Property Brothers". While working with the Scott brothers Mr. Howard executed two large residential renovation projects, each completed in seven weeks. Season 10’s episode 5, "Character and Closed Concept", was located in Greenwich Connecticut and first aired on January 18, 2017. That was followed by Season 10’s episode 9, "Unexpected Dream Home", which was located in Rye Brook, NY and first aired on February 15th, 2017.
